The atmosphere was so nice tvs for games no music blaring and you could actually talk with people and hear them. Very cozy atmosphere and it was not cold in the restaurant at all. The food was very fresh not greasy at all. My plate of food was so good it was so fresh and we will definitely be regulars for sure. Thank you for preparing the food so well and the service was amazing.
First timers at Spartan Ale House in Aurora - went on a Saturday afternoon to watch some basketball. Plenty of tv's all around the place. Service was fine ... a little rough to start but ended up solid in the end. Food deserves a solid 4 stars - all four of us had sandwiches and all gave a thumbs up. Unassuming place in a neighborhood- would recommend.

A true hidden gem in Aurora. This place is always a hit. Delicious food and drinks. We have had a few questionable visits as far as service... but these are people.. not robots.
We really enjoy comings here BUT please bring back your onion rings! It's the one thing that we came here for!!
Spartan House continues to be a wonderful place to have cocktails, watch a game on one of their many TV's and to have lunch or dinner. The staff has always been knowledgeable on cocktail and dining recommendations. When the weather is warm, they have large glass garage doors that open to give an open air/dining experience. In our six years plus of patronage I've only ordered their excellent Salmon. Today I broke with tradition and ordered the Lamb Lollipops topped with a rosemary demi-glacé served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. My lovely bride had the Spartan Steak Marinated Kabobs, with red onions, peppers, Mediterranean rice and topped with feta cheese. Both were excellent! I'm hoping that it's not another six years before I sample something else from their extensive menu selection.
Love the service Rachel is wonderful but why a 3.60% credit card convenience fee??? Is this new
